Britney in her bikini as she shoots her new video but pulls out of Teen Choice Awards

Britney Spears proved she's back to her toned-and-taut best yesterday, as she stripped down to a skimpy white bikini for a video shoot in LA.


Britney Spears is back in a bikini.

The 27-year-old mother of two showed of her toned tummy at a photo shoot at the Ritz Carlton in Los Angeles Thursday.

Late last year, Spears had begun intense training to ready for her worldwide Circus tour. Usmagazine.com reported she shed 20 pounds, thanks to two-hour cardio-and-strength-training workouts three times a week (on top of dance rehearsals).

"I have had to work hard at getting [my body] back to where it used to be," she told Glamour earlier this year. "I used to be obsessed with working out ... But I can't get motivated right now because I'm so focused on my music."

Spears will receive a special award at this year's Teen Choice 2009.

Spears, the female artist with the most Teen Choice surfboard awards, will be honored with the ultimate

choice award for her "extraordinary contributions to the entertainment industry," FOX said in a statement Thursday.

The show airs on Fox Monday at 8 p.m.


A statement released by her management read: "We are deeply sorry for any confusion and disappointment and appreciate the ongoing dedication of Britney's wonderful fans."

Britters is picking up the Ultimate Choice honorary award to celebrate her showbiz career thus far, but she's up for another three gongs at Sunday's bash which is hosted by The Jonas Brothers
